PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having improved menstrual blood migration property from a top sheet to an absorber and capable of reducing the menstrual blood remaining in the top sheet.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes a nonwoven fabric top sheet including at least heat-fusible composite fibers, and a ratio (machine direction/width direction) of an orientation degree of fibers of the nonwoven fabric top sheet along the machine direction to an orientation degree of fibers along the width direction is 1.0-7.0.
