PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a benzoquinone-type compound for Wnt/&bgr;-catenin signal path suppression which suppresses Wnt/&bgr;-catenin signal path of a melanoma cell; and a pharmaceutical composition and a supplement for skin carcinoma symptom improvement using the same.SOLUTION: A benzoquinone-type compound for Wnt/&bgr;-catenin signal path suppression has a structure represented by the general formula (1) or a reduction type structure of a compound represented by the general formula (1). In the general formula (1), R1 is a hydrogen group or [(CH)CH]n, n is an integer of 1 to 5, and R2 is a hydrogen group or a methoxy group.【課題】本発明は、黒色腫細胞のWnt/β‐cateninシグナル経路を抑制するWnt/β‐cateninシグナル経路抑制用ベンゾキノン系化合物、ならびに、それを用いた皮膚癌病状改善用医薬組成物およびサプリメントを提供する。【解決手段】Wnt/β‐cateninシグナル経路抑制用ベンゾキノン系化合物は、一般式(1)で表される構造又は一般式(1)で表される化合物の還元型の構造を有する。一般式(1)中で、R1は水素基又は[(C4H4)CH3]nであり、nは1~5の整数であり、R2は水素基又はメトキシ基である。【選択図】図1
