The present invention relates to a safety cap for a syringe, capable of enabling a user to easily hold a syringe and preventing the user from being pierced by the syringes needle when covering the needle with a syringe cap to protect the needle which has been used in various medical conditions such as an emergency. To achieve the purpose, the present invention provides a safety cap for a syringe, which includes a cap body, a combination part, a holding part, and a holding support part. The cap body is formed with an insertion hole open to a side to insert a needle of a syringe. The combination part protrudes from a side part of the cap body. The holding part is extended from the combination part to the insertion hole in a longitudinal direction of the cap body, and is able to be held by the fingers of a user. The holding support part is connected with the holding part to protrude in a direction crossing with the longitudinal direction of the cap body so that the holding part is able to always stay away from the ground.본 발명은 응급상황 등의 다양한 의료환경에서 사용된 주사기 바늘을 보호하기 위하여 주사기 바늘을 주사기용 캡에 씌울 때 사용자가 주사기 바늘에 찔리는 상황을 방지하고, 사용자가 쉽게 파지할 수 있는 주사기용 안전 캡에 관한 것이다. 이를 위해 본 발명은 캡 몸체, 결합부, 파지부 및 파지받침부를 포함하는 주사기용 안전 캡을 제공한다. 캡 몸체는 주사기의 바늘이 삽입되는 삽입홀이 일측으로 개방되도록 형성된다. 결합부는 캡 몸체의 측부로부터 돌출되게 형성된다. 파지부는 삽입홀 측으로 캡 몸체의 길이방향을 따라 결합부로부터 연장되게 형성되며, 사용자의 손가락에 의해 파지 가능하게 형성된다. 파지받침부는 파지부와 연결되어 파지부가 지면으로부터 항상 이격될 수 있도록 캡 몸체의 길이방향과 교차하는 방향을 따라 돌출되게 형성된다.
