Medication dispensers are provided that are both child-proof and tamperevident. In oneembodiment, a child-proof and tamper-evident dispenser includes a tray membercomprising aplurality of receptacles for receiving a pharmaceutical compound, a stop tabconnected to a firstperipheral edge by a neck member, and a tab member at a second peripheral edgethat is oppositefrom the first peripheral edge. The dispenser further includes a bottom casebody and a top casebody configured to form an enclosure around the plurality of receptacles whenbrought into asubstantially confronting relationship. Each of the bottom case body and thetop case bodyinclude a sloped wall member having a shelf portion that surrounds the neckmember when theenclosure is formed. A plurality of locking tabs engage a complimentary numberof lockingrecesses configured to receive an end portion of the locking tabs to fix thebottom case body andthe top case body in an enclosure configuration. The tray member includes aplurality ofresiliently flexible locking arms that extend into a complimentary pluralityof apertures withinthe case to secure the tray member within the enclosure.
