PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound producing mechanism which can securely retain an engagement pawl at a sound producing position and at a release position.SOLUTION: A double-bearing type reel comprises: a reel body a spool a gear configured to rotate in conjunction with the spool a collar made of an elastic member, the collar being mounted to the reel body and having a first circular hole portion 81a and a second circular hole portion 81b an operation member mounted to the collar and retained selectively in the first hole portion 81a or the second portion 81b and an engagement pawl provided on the operation member and configured to engage the gear when the operation member is secured in the first hole portion 81a, and not to engage the gear when the operation member is secured in the second hole portion 81b.
