The present invention relates to a device (1) for fixating body part comprising a sleeve member (2) of a hermetically impermeable material (3) to be placed around a body part (10), having at least one open end (5), wherein at least one sealing means (4) is provided in order to achieve a tight seal between the sealing means (4) and the body part (10), the device further comprising a valve (6) to be arranged to facilitate a vacuum to be obtained between the sleeve member (2) and the body part.The vacuum is thus providing fixation to a body part (10) to aid medical scanning of a body part (10).The present invention also relates to a method for fixating a body part (10).
