An animal guard comprising a sleeve with a guard section, intermediate section, and neck section, the guard section comprising a deformable mesh with a pair of snaps and the neck section comprising preferably cloth material terminating in a hem containing a drawstring to tighten the neck section around an animals head, with the guard section overlapping the neck section in the intermediate section of the animal guard. The animal guard is designed to prevent bites from the animal while keeping the animal comfortable. The animal is able to be fed and watered while in the animal guard.
