PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope where a flow rate of a liquid made to flow through a channel formed inside an insertion part can be increased without increasing the outer diameter of the distal end of the insertion part and which has a rational constitution where curving operability of the insertion part is not damaged.
SOLUTION: The endoscope is provided with a channel 56 formed of: a channel hole 57 formed at the distal end 11 and a flexible channel tube 60 which is connected with the channel hole, includes a curved part 12 and is arranged extending in the rear insertion part 2 from a curved part 12. The cross sectional shape of the channel hole 57 is formed to be flat in a direction expanding the arrangement space of an imaging unit 48 incorporated in the tip 11. The cross section of the channel tube 60 is formed nearly circular.
