The invention is related to fishing and can be used in sporting and amateur fishing, in particular, it can be used for fishing by people with reduced capabilities. The technical result to which the invention is directed consists in higher operation convenience and reliability of a device used for casting a fishing rod. The technical result is attained by the proposed device for casting a fishing bait comprising a body, a trigger, a fixture to fasten the device to a fishing rod, wherein the device further includes a discharge tube for fishing bait casting connected to the body having a possibility of bait casting and provided with a slot and an outlet opening, and an insert in the discharge tube fastened to the line near the bait. The body of the device may have various embodiments depending on the way in which bait casting is performed.
