The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing a horse chestnut fruit extract. The cosmetic composition containing a horse chestnut fruit extract is obtained by the steps of: collecting fruits of horse chestnut which can be commonly found as a roadside tree, and fully drying the fruits, followed by washing the fruits； adding an organic solvent to the horse chestnut fruits which has been washed to dissolve the fruits in the organic solvent； extracting useful ingredients from the fruits while agitating the fruits and the organic solvent at room temperature； and filtering an extract obtained in the extracting step, and pressure concentrating the extract while heating the extract. Therefore, a cosmetic composition containing various kinds of useful ingredients such as quercetin and the like can be obtained at low manufacturing costs. Simultaneously, provided is an eco-friendly cosmetic composition capable of entirely satisfying safety secured by a natural substance, unproblematic stability in formulation during the addition of the cosmetic composition to cosmetics, and usability due to antioxidation, anti-skin aging, etc.본 발명은 마로니에 열매 추출물을 함유하는 화장품 조성물에 관한 것으로, 도로변 가로수로 흔히 볼 수 있는 마로니에 열매를 채취하여 충분히 건조한뒤 세척하고 세척된 마로니에 열매에 유기용매를 가하여 용해한 뒤 상온에서 교반하면서 유용성분을 추출하고, 추출된 추출물은 여과하여 가온하면서 가압농축하여 화장품 조성물을 얻도록 함으로서, 저렴한 제조비용으로 켈세틴 등 각종 유용성분을 함유한 화장품 조성물을 얻을 수 있도록 하면서 천연유래물질로서의 안전성과 화장품에 첨가시 제형에 문제가 없는 안정성 및 항산화작용과 피부노화방지 등에 의한 사용성 등을 모두 만족시켜 줄 수가 있는 자연친화적인 화장품 조성물을 제공할 수 있도록 한 것이다.
