The present invention relates to a plate and screw osteosynthesis device for the reduction of a bone fracture, which osteosynthesis device (1) comprises an osteosynthesis plate (2) provided with an oblong hole (4) suitable for cooperate with a fixing screw (5). According to the invention, the side walls which together define the periphery of said oblong orifice (4) comprise a plurality of annular grooves (43) parallel to each other, and the head contour of the head (51) of the fixing screw ( 5) is provided with a head thread (54) adapted to cooperate with said annular grooves (43) around the walls of said oblong orifice (4), to obtain locking of said screw (5) on said osteosynthesis plate (2).
