PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food material cutting apparatus capable of easily and efficiently cutting a food material for topping of a hand-rolled sushi such as a rolled egg into a topping having excellent adherence to a rice ball and excellent stability on the rice ball.SOLUTION: This food material cutting apparatus includes an extruding member 16 for pressing and moving a fried egg 10 in a fried egg storage frame 26 along the upper surface of a lower plate 20 and a plurality of cutting blades 24 laterally arranged at predetermined intervals along the lower plate 20 and an upper plate 22 and projecting to one side.
