PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic fiber rope formed by multiplying twists of yarns and strands, having a small elongation rate at a high tension, capable of greatly improving a strength utilization rate of tensile strength of synthetic fibers, and ensuring an elongation rate substantially the same as an elongation rate of synthetic fibers used.SOLUTION: A synthetic fiber rope 1 is formed by twisting or combining a plurality of strands 2 comprising a cylindrical woven cloth that is woven with warp and weft of synthetic fibers and a core material of a plurality of synthetic fibers paralleled in the cylindrical woven cloth. The synthetic fiber includes one or a plurality of fibers selected from polyamide fibers such as nylon, polyester-based fibers, polyacrylonitrile-based fibers, polyvinyl alcohol-based fibers such as vinylon, polypropylene-based fibers, polyvinyl chloride-based fibers, polyethylene-based fibers, polyvinylidene chloride-based fibers, and polyurethane-based fibers.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
