Ein Hyaluronsäuregel (1) auf der Basis quervernetzter Hyaluronsäure soll angegeben werden, mit der die günstigen Eigenschaften dieses Materials für eine Anzahl noch weiterer medizinischer und/oder therapeutischer Anwendungen nutzbar gemacht werden können. Dazu weist das Hyaluronsäuregel (1) erfindungsgemäß aus quervernetzter Hyaluronsäure gebildete Gelpartikel (2) auf, in die Partikel (4) eines bioziden Metalls eingebettet sind.Hyaluronic acid gel (1) having gel particles (2) formed from crosslinked hyaluronic acid, where a biocidal metal comprises a particle (4), is claimed. Independent claims are included for: (1) producing the hyaluronic acid gel, comprising adding hyaluronic acid with particles of the biocidal metal so as to form a suspension, and adding the suspension of a crosslinking agent for the hyaluronic acid so that the hyaluronic acid are crosslinked (2) the hyaluronic acid gel obtained by the method and (3) a medical product comprising the hyaluronic acid gel.
