The installation comprises a combustion device (1) for combustion of biomass to produce combustion gas, a gas-solid separation unit (3a) for purifying the combustion gas, a gas turbine system (5) for producing electricity from the combustion gas, a gas-gas heat exchanger (7) for heating a feed gas from the combustion gas, a roasting device for roasting food grains from the feed gas and for producing roasting gas, a cooling unit (11) for cooling the roasted food grain, and a membrane filtration unit for treating the feed gas and roasting gas from the cooling unit to produce purified gas. The installation comprises a combustion device (1) for combustion of biomass to produce combustion gas, a gas-solid separation unit (3a) for purifying the combustion gas, a gas turbine system (5) for producing electricity from the combustion gas, a gas-gas heat exchanger (7) for heating a feed gas from the combustion gas, a roasting device for roasting food grains from the feed gas and for producing roasting gas, a cooling unit (11) for cooling the roasted food grain, a membrane filtration unit for treating the feed gas and roasting gas from the cooling unit to produce purified gas, and a deacidification device for processing the purified gas and for producing a poor gaseous effluent in acid gases. The gaseous effluent is recycled to form a portion of the feed gas used in the roasting device. The biomass is adapted to produce fuel including products of cellulose or lignocellulose such as wood and/or by-products from agriculture including straw, olive pomace and pomace dates. The installation further comprises a unit for heating fuel from biomass positioned in an upstream of the combustion device.
