The present invention provides an endoscope which can prevent falling of a reflection frame more reliably. The endoscope (1) comprises the following components: a light source part (3) which is fixed to the bottom end of an insertion part (2) for irradiating illumination light an annular reflection component (4) which is provided with a reflection surface (4a) that is configured around the lightsource part (3) and a cap-shaped outer frame component (8). The bottom of the insertion part (2) is inserted into the outer frame component (8) along a long axis direction of the insertion part (2).The outer frame component (8) is provided with an opening (10) which is configured at a position that is corresponding with the light source part (3) and the reflection component (4) at a state that the bottom of the insertion part (2) is inserted into the outer frame component (8). The opening (10) causes the exposure of the light source part (3) and the reflection component (4). The outer shapeof the reflection component (4) is larger than that of the opening (10).
