The present invention relates to a composition for treating a disease related to activity of granzyme B, comprising a plant extract or a compound derived therefrom as effective components and, more specifically, to a pharmaceutical composition or a healthy food composition which can be used to prevent and treat a disease or alleviate symptoms of the disease caused by excessive activity of granzyme B and which contains at least one kind of a Polygoni cuspidati radix extract, a Selaginella tamariscina extract, a ginkgo leaf extract, a green tea extract, and resveratrol, amentoflavone, and epigallocatechin which are compounds derived therefrom. According to the present invention, the composition is excellent in inhibiting activity of granzyme B, and thus, can be suitably used for various diseases, for example atherosclerosis, aneurysm, exfoliation such as exfoliation of aorta, scleroderma, epidermolysis bullosa, alopecia areata, discoid lupus erythematosus, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, etc., caused by excessive activity of the granzyme B.본 발명은 식물 추출물 또는 이로부터 유래되는 화합물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 그랜자임 B의 활성과 연관된 질환의 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 그랜자임 B의 과도한 활성으로 인해 발생하는 질환의 예방, 치료, 또는 질환 증상의 개선에 사용될 수 있고, 호장근, 권백, 은행잎 및 녹차의 추출물 및 이로부터 유래되는 화합물인 레스베라트롤, 아멘토플라본 및 에피갈로카테킨 갈레이트를 1종 이상 함유하는 약학적 조성물 또는 건강식품 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 조성물은 그랜자임 B에 대한 억제 활성이 뛰어나므로, 그랜자임 B의 과도한 활성으로 인해 유발되는 질환들, 예컨대 동맥경화, 동맥류, 박리, 예컨대 대동맥 등의 박리, 피부경화증, 수포성 표피 박리증, 원형 탈모증, 원판상 홍반성 루푸스, 만성폐쇄성폐질환, 천식 등과 같은 다양한 질환에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
