At present, various herbicidal compositions have been developed and use, but there are a variety of types of weeds to be controlled, and their development lasts for a long period of time. Thus, a herbicidal composition having a broad herbicidal spectrum, having high activity and having a long-lasting effect has been desired. The present invention relates to a herbicidal composition comprising (a) nicosulfuron or its salt and (b) S-metolachlor or its salt.
