PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary device which makes it easy and efficient to pull up long-rooted vegetables by softening the soil around the vegetables with a simple means.SOLUTION: The device includes: a base 2 which is connected with a pressured water source and which has branches to distribute pressured water supplied from the pressured water source to multiple directions and a plural number of long pipe-shaped insertion tubes 5, 5 the lower ends of which are closed and the upper parts of which are connected to the base 2 communicating with the distribution branches.
