The present invention relates to a novel crystalline form of Rilpivirine hydrochloride and to methods for its preparation. Furthermore the present invention relates to the use of the novel crystalline form for the preparation of a medicament. In addition the present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising an effective amount of the novel crystalline form of Rilpivirine hydrochloride and to methods of preparing the same. Finally the present invention relates to pharmaceutical combinations comprising the novel crystalline form of Rilpivirine hydrochloride and additional therapeutic agents.
