PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydroponic apparatus promoting photosynthesis in cultivation while simplifying equipment and reducing the number of man-hour required for supply of materials for generating carbon dioxide, and thereby enabling efficient cultivation of plants.
SOLUTION: The hydroponic apparatus includes a plurality of culture media 2 for planting plants P, a culture medium-holding body 3 holding the culture media 2, a solution supply mechanism 5 for supplying nutrient solution in a nutrient solution tank 8 to the culture media 2, and a purifier 6 purifying the nutrient solution supplied by the solution supply mechanism 5 by bringing the nutrient solution into contact with a photocatalyst. The purifier 6 is disposed on a position being on the culture medium-holding body 3 and surrounded with the plurality of culture media 2.
