<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a growth promoting material for aquatic organisms to promote the growth of scallop and oyster in fish farming. <；P>；SOLUTION: The growth promoting material for aquatic organisms is obtained by storing a powdery aggregate 1 in a cloth material 2. The aquatic organism growth promoting material is used by soaking it in seawater. The powdery aggregate 1 contains iron powder, carbon dust and sand or blast furnace slag powder. The cloth material 2 does not leak the powdery aggregate 1 in a powdery state as it is into seawater, and freely infiltrates seawater. When soaking the growth promoting material for organism in seawater, an electric corrosion action occurs between Fe in iron powder and carbon (C) in carbon dust, and Fe becomes a bivalent ion, and is discharged into seawater through the cloth material 1.
