The present invention discloses a cleaning device and a method for cleaning surgical instruments, especially the scope lens and/or the tip of the scope and/or the cover of the scope. The cleaning device is adapted to clean the surgical instruments, especially the scope lens and/or said tip of the scope and/or the cover of said scope by wiping the surgical instrument over the cleaning device during a surgical procedure within the body cavity and/or within said abdominal cavity and/or within hollow body organs and/or within the natural/artificial orifices and/or within the spaces and/or to the post operative spaces. The cleaning device is a standalone cleaning device. The present invention also discloses a system for use during a surgical procedure. The system comprises: (a) at least one cleaning device and (b) at least one introducer.La présente invention concerne un dispositif de nettoyage et un procédé pour nettoyer des instruments chirurgicaux, notamment la lentille dun endoscope et/ou lembout et/ou le couvercle dun endoscope. Le dispositif de nettoyage est conçu pour nettoyer les instruments chirurgicaux et notamment la lentille et/ou lembout et/ou le couvercle de lendoscope par lessuyage de linstrument chirurgical au moyen du dispositif de nettoyage pendant un opération chirurgicale à lintérieur de la cavité corporelle et/ou à lintérieur de ladite cavité abdominale et/ou à lintérieur dorganes creux du corps et/ou dans des orifices et/ou dans les espaces naturels / artificiels et/ou dans les espaces post-opératoires. Le dispositif de nettoyage est un dispositif fonctionnant de façon indépendante. La présente invention concerne également un système utilisé pendant une opération chirurgicale. Le système comprend (a) au moins un dispositif de nettoyage et (b) au moins un introducteur.
