In a subject (eg, a human) in need thereof, comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of formula (I), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a vinca alkaloid, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. Combinations for treating cancer are disclosed. The subject may be at a very high risk for cancer or may be at high risk and may not respond to any drug administered as a single treatment. A subject with cancer may also be refractory to at least one chemotherapeutic treatment, or be in a relapsed state after treatment with chemotherapy, or both. The cancer can be a hematological malignancy such as leukemia or lymphoma, or a solid tumor cancer such as pancreas, lung and colon cancer.
