PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter having a small diameter and excellent antifouling property while having excellent slidability and bendability. A catheter of the present invention comprises a tubular member and a coating layer covering at least a portion of the surface of the tubular member, the coating layer containing organic polysilazane. In one embodiment, the length of the portion where the coating layer is formed is 0.1 mm to 100 mm. In one embodiment, the thickness of the coating layer is 50 μm or less. In one embodiment, the coating layer is directly laminated to the tubular member.
