PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead pipe to be fixed to an animal trimming table, which can prevent the head pipe from being suddenly largely lowered.
SOLUTION: A safety device 20 is attached to the support portion 10a of a lead pipe 10 disposed on a trimming table 1. The safety device 20 includes a circular stopper member 22 composed of an elastic material of natural or synthetic rubber as a typical example. The inner circumferential surface 22a of the stopper member 22 has a shape complementary to the cross-sectional shape of the outer circumferential surface of the support portion 10a of the lead pipe 10, and the diameter of the inner circumferential surface 22a of the stopper member 22 is set in a slightly smaller size than the outer diameter of the support portion 10aa of the lead pipe 10.
