According to one embodiment, a roll-in type couch is pivotable to a support frame, a pair of legs pivotably and slidably coupled to the support frame, and to and to one of the legs. And a pair of hinge members connected to each other. The roll-in type simple couch further includes a wheel link mechanism that is pivotally connected to a pair of legs, and a wheel alignment mechanism. The leg and hinge member pivot relative to each other at a certain relative angular rotation ratio, and the wheel alignment mechanism rotates the wheel alignment mechanism relative to the hinge member at a certain reduction ratio. The relative angular rotation ratio between the leg and the hinge member is roughly inversely proportional to the reduction ratio of the wheel alignment mechanism.
