The reference location (304) may correspond to at least a portion of a structure (204) in the first cross plane image (200). The processor (132, 140) may track movement over the time of the selected reference location (304) in the first cross plane image (200). The processor (132, 140) may update an image acquisition location parameter of the second cross plane image (202) on the basis of the tracked reference location (304) to intersect the second cross plane image (202) with the first cross plane image (200) at the tracked reference location (304).
