PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve positioning efficiency using a three-dimensional ROI (Region Of Interest) and to improve the accuracy of a diagnostic imaging in an MRI apparatus.
SOLUTION: This MRI apparatus 10 is provided with: a cross-sectional image generation section 61 for executing a positioning scan and generating cross-sectional images a reference image selection section 62 for selecting a reference image from the cross-sectional images a three-dimensional ROI generation section 63 for generating the three-dimensional ROI a movement control section 65 for controlling the movement of the three-dimensional ROI a first three-dimensional ROI setting section 66 for setting the three-dimensional ROI after the movement by the movement control section 65, as a first three-dimensional ROI an intersection face generation section 67 for generating an intersection face between the first three-dimensional ROI and the cross-sectional face of the reference image and a display control section 64 for controlling the display of the reference image, the first three-dimensional ROI and the intersection face.
