Provided is an artificial ventilation apparatus comprising memory means adapted to store at least a first ventilatory parameter and at least a second ventilatory parameter, interface indication means enabling a user, such as a physician, to selecting an invasive or non-invasive respiratory interface that it intends to use to distribute respiratory gas to a patient, and signal processing and control means configured to find and select within the storage means said at least a first parameter ventilator in response to user selection, non-invasive respiratory interface, such as a respiratory mask or the like, and said at least one second ventilatory parameter in response to user selection of a respiratory interface invasive, such as an intubation probe. L'invention porte sur un appareil de ventilation artificielle comprenant des moyens de mémorisation conçus pour mémoriser au moins un premier paramètre ventilatoire et au moins un second paramètre ventilatoire, des moyens d'indication d'interface permettant à un utilisateur, tel un médecin, de sélectionner une interface respiratoire invasive ou non-invasive qu'il compte utiliser pour distribuer un gaz respiratoire à un patient, et des moyens de traitement de signal et de pilotage configurés pour retrouver et sélectionner au sein des moyens de mémorisation ledit au moins un premier paramètre ventilatoire en réponse à une sélection par l'utilisateur, d'une interface respiratoire non-invasive, tel un masque respiratoire ou analogue, et ledit au moins un second paramètre ventilatoire en réponse à une sélection par l'utilisateur, d'une interface respiratoire invasive, telle une sonde d'intubation.
