SOLUTION: A cassette management device includes: a registration information acquiring means for acquiring registration time, when cassette identification information is registered in an information storage part in association with photographing order information to be performed by using the cassette and the registered cassette identification information a reading information acquiring means for acquiring the identification information of the cassette where a medical image is read by a reading means for reading the medical image recorded in the cassette a determining means for determining whether or not the registered cassette is read by the reading means within a fixed time from the registration time and ON the basis of the registration time and cassette identification information acquired by the registration information acquiring means and the cassette identification information acquired by the reading information acquiring means and an alarm means for issuing an alarm when the determining means determines that the cassette is not read.
