The present invention provides an aquarium sterilizing and purifying device using an OH radical. The aquarium sterilizing and purifying device comprises: a water tank unit for storing aquarium water; a pump for discharging raw water stored in the water tank unit to the outside to be transferred along a raw water moving line; an OH radical generating unit for discharging gas to generate an OH radical to be discharged to the outside; and an active magnetizer provided with and mixing the raw water transferred along the raw water moving line and the OH radical discharged from the OH radical generating unit, and providing a path to re-supply the same into the water tank unit. The active magnetizer comprises: a body having a penetrated inside, and including a raw water inlet for feeding the raw water transferred along the raw water moving line, and an OH radical inlet for feeding the OH radical transferred along an ion electron moving line connected with the OH radical generating unit; and a magnetic field applying unit formed on an outer surface of the body to apply a magnetic field to the OH radical disposed in the body. The magnetic field applying unit comprises: a pair of first and second magnets having different poles, which are opposite to each other, in a vertical direction with respect to a moving direction of the raw water; and a pair of third and fourth magnets disposed in rear sides of the first and second magnets, and having different poles which are opposite to each other in a vertical direction with respect to a moving direction of the raw water.
