PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chlorine dioxide generation device in which an LED or the like is exposed to chlorine dioxide so that the LED or the like can be prevented from being deteriorated and accordingly can be used for a long period of time.SOLUTION: The chlorine dioxide generation device 10 includes: a cartridge 400 in which a chemical being a chlorine dioxide generation source is held； and an LED substrate 600 on which LED 601 for emitting UV light to the chemical is mounted. A cut-off plate 700 is arranged between the LED substrate 600 and the cartridge 400, said plate suppressing arrival of the chlorine dioxide at the LED substrate 600 without disturbing arrival of the UV light at the chemical.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
