To provide a normal combine harvester that effectively uses functions which the normal combine harvester includes and efficiently performs a pickup operation.
SOLUTION: The normal combine harvester includes a main reaping apparatus 63 for reaping standing culms in a horizontal position along a horizontal direction and a reel type raking apparatus 64 that rotates a raking tine at the upper side position of the main reaping apparatus 63 and rakes standing culms of reaping object. The main reaping apparatus 63 is equipped with a pickup apparatus 5 that has a front edge side projected forward and downward from a reaping blade and picks up stems and culms in a sideways falling posture.
