A biopsy needle 1 includes an elongated insertion portion 10 and a tissue collection portion 20 attached to the tip of the insertion portion 10. The tissue collecting portion 20 has a first member 21 having a solid tip portion 22 having a sharp tip 22a, a slit portion 30 having a slit connected to the tip portion and extending in the longitudinal direction, and a sharp tip 42a. It has a second member 41 rotatably attached to the first member 21.
