PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing: a ceramidase activity inhibitor containing, as an active ingredient, a processed product derived from a family Laminariaceae plant which inhibits ceramidase activity, specifically neutral/alkaline ceramidase activity； and an amount regulator of ceramide, a quasi drug and a cosmetic containing the inhibitor.SOLUTION: This invention relates to: a method for producing the ceramidase activity inhibitor for extracting an active ingredient from a family Laminariaceae plant by using an extraction solvent； and a method for producing the amount regulator of ceramide, the quasi drug and the cosmetic containing the ceramidase activity inhibitor, which includes a step of producing the ceramidase activity inhibitor by the method.【課題】セラミダーゼ活性、中でも中性／アルカリ性セラミダーゼ活性を阻害するコンブ科植物の処理物を有効成分として含有することを特徴とするセラミダーゼ活性阻害剤、並びに、該阻害剤を含有してなるセラミド量調節剤、医薬部外品、化粧料の製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】コンブ科植物より抽出溶媒を使用して有効成分を抽出することを特徴とするセラミダーゼ活性阻害剤の製造方法。該方法でセラミダーゼ活性阻害剤を製造する工程を包含する、セラミダーゼ活性阻害剤を含有するセラミド量調節剤、医薬部外品、化粧料の製造方法。【選択図】なし
