PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage unit capable of improving a feeling of relaxation or performing massage with rich variations.SOLUTION: A massage unit 8 comprises: an arm 34 having therapeutic elements 35 a massage shaft 32 that causes the arm 34 to generate massaging operation and a tapping shaft 33 that causes the arm 34 to generate tapping operation. The arm 34 includes an inside arm 51 and an outside arm 52 juxtaposed in the horizontal direction corresponding to the left half body of a user, and an inside arm 51 and an outside arm 52 juxtaposed in the horizontal direction corresponding to the right half body of the user. The adjacent inside arm 51 and outside arm 52 are connected by the massage shaft 32. The left/right inside arms 51 are connected by the tapping shaft 33. Regulation means 42 for regulating rotation about the massage shaft 32 of the outside arm 52 is provided.
