PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purification device capable of precisely detecting the blockage of an arterial-side blood circuit in an arterial-side blood return step.SOLUTION: A control means 19 detects a pressure with a venous pressure sensor 21 while carrying out two or more times of the arterial-side blood return steps including: a pressure accumulation step of driving a blood pump 4 forward while closing a flow path with an electromagnetic valve V2 to accumulate a pressure between the installation position of the blood pump 4 and the installation position of the electromagnetic valve V2 and a pressure release step of driving the blood pump 4 reversely while maintaining the closing of the flow path by the electromagnetic valve V2 to return blood from the distal end of an arterial-side blood circuit 2.
