The invention relates to a light emitting device which can be modulated to emit wavelength. Primarily, the light emitting device is provided with a control unit connected to a light source and a wavelength-tunable power source. A wavelength modulation unit is equipped at the output end of the wavelength-tunable power source corresponding to the light source. The wavelength modulation unit can be driven by the wavelength-tunable power source and is provided with a plurality of light transmission intervals with different wavelengths so that light emitted form the light source can have different wavelengths therethrough. Furthermore, the control unit is connected with a detection unit to detect the cultured state of the creature to be cultured, and the control unit is connected to a monitoring unit to proceed with various monitoring operation for operators or automatically.
