PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent shortage and drying up of cultivation soil without frequent watering to prevent a plant from withering and to prevent failure due to surrounding stain caused by drainage along with the watering.SOLUTION: A seedling pot comprises a bottom part 5 and a surrounding wall 6 standing up at entire of peripheral part of the bottom part 5. A slit 8 extending to the bottom part 5 is arranged on the surrounding wall 6. A lower recessed part 9 is arranged on the surrounding wall 6, which is arranged at a height over the upper edge of the slit and being recessed to inside of the pot. When the seeding pot is inserted into an outer pot 2 while entire peripheral surface at upper side above the lower recessed part 9 contacts to the surface of the outer pot 2, a water storing part 25 may be formed with the lower recessed part 9. In addition, on the surrounding wall 6, an upper recessed part 10 is arranged between vertical positions of upper edge position over the insertion height into the outer pot 2 and the lower recessed part 9, which is formed by being recessed to inside of the pot to make a vertical stripe shape.
