PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately prevent erroneous notification of a call from a sensor slave unit, without causing a medical staff to trouble. SOLUTION: A sensor slave unit 1 for detecting a predetermined state of a patient and outputting a sensor call signal, and an entrance/exit detection device 40 for identifiably detecting the entrance/exit of a medical staff to/from a hospital room where the patient is present. A nurse call system including an ID transmitter 20 carried by a medical attendant, a timer 15 for measuring time, and a nurse call master device 50 for inputting and calling a sensor call signal, which is a sensor slave device. When 1 detects the predetermined state of the patient, the timer 15 is operated at a predetermined timing after that, and the entrance/exit detection device 40 detects the entrance of the medical staff by the time the timer 15 measures the predetermined time. In addition, the nurse call base unit 50 does not notify even if a call is made by the sensor slave unit 1 until the leaving of the medical staff is detected. [Selection diagram]【課題】 医療従事者に手間をかけさせることなく、センサ子機からの呼び出しが誤って報知されることを適切に防止することを目的とする。【解決手段】 患者の所定の状態を検出してセンサ呼出信号を出力するセンサ子機１と、その患者が居る病室への医療従事者の入退室を識別可能に検出する入退室検出装置４０と、医療従者により携帯されるＩＤ発信装置２０と、時間を計測するタイマー１５と、センサ呼出信号を入力して報知を行うナースコール親機５０とを備えたナースコールシステムであって、センサ子機１が患者の所定の状態を検出した場合以降の所定のタイミングにてタイマー１５を動作させ、このタイマー１５が所定時間を計測するまでに入退室検出装置４０が医療従事者の入室を検出した場合に、その医療従事者の退室を検出するまでセンサ子機１による呼び出しが行われてもナースコール親機５０による報知を行わないようにしている。【選択図】 図１
