PURPOSE: A method for determining a variety with resistance to tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV) is provided to enhance convenience and precision in resistivity evaluation and to cheaply and repetitively evaluate resistance. CONSTITUTION: A method for determining a variety with resistance to TYLCV comprises the step of infecting plant leaves with TYLCV strains. The method also comprises the step of measuring TYLCV-Ct/Actin-Ct value. The method additionally comprises the step of determining a resistant variety when the TYLCV-Ct/Actin-Ct value is 0.7 or greater. TYLCV includes at least three among TYLCV-IS, TYLCV-NS, TYLCV-YS, TYLCV-GJ, and TYLCV-Cgh.
