The present inventors produced a heterodimerized polypeptide having an Fc region that comprises two polypeptides having different amino acid sequences from each other (i.e., a first polypeptide and a second polypeptide), and thus succeeded in the production of a heterodimerized polypeptide containing an Fc region having an improved function compared with that of a homodimer having an Fc region composed only of the first polypeptide or a homodimer having an Fc region composed of the second polypeptide which are conventional techniques.La présente invention concerne un polypeptide hétérodimérisé ayant une région Fc qui comprend deux polypeptides ayant des séquences d'acides aminés différentes l'une de l'autre (c'est-à-dire, un premier polypeptide et un second polypeptide), et donc réussit à produire un polypeptide hétérodimérisé contenant une région Fc ayant une fonction améliorée par comparaison avec celle d'un homodimère ayant une région Fc composée seulement du premier polypeptide ou un homodimère ayant une région Fc composée du second polypeptide qui sont des techniques classiques.本発明者らは、アミノ酸配列の異なる２つのポリペプチド（第一のポリペプチド及び第二のポリペプチド）から成るＦｃ領域を有するヘテロ二量化ポリペプチドを作製することにより、従来技術である該Ｆｃ領域が第一のポリペプチドのみからなるホモ二量化体又は第二のポリペプチドから成るホモ二量化体と比べて、Ｆｃ領域の機能が改善されたＦｃ領域を含むヘテロ二量化ポリペプチドを作製することに成功した。
