A cap assembly (200) for a drug delivery device (1)is described comprising a cap (120), and a clip element (134) which is configured to be attached to the cap (120), the clip element (134) comprising a first component (300), and a second component (301), wherein the first component (300) is at least partly received by the second component (301), wherein the first component (300) and the second component (301) are firmly connected to one another, and wherein the connection between the first component (300) and the second component is the means by which the second component (301) is attached to the cap (120).
