The ultrasonic probe includes a reflection layer between an ultrasonic transducer and a backing layer, the reflection layer configured to reflect an ultrasonic wave transmitted from the ultrasonic transducer, wherein the backing layer includes a backing material, and wherein a thermally-conductive layer of material having a thermal conductivity higher than that of the backing material is formed over a surface of the backing layer.
