PURPOSE: A replacing panel for a construction material using a giant thatch and a manufacturing method for the same are provided to replace insufficient timber resources by providing a panel with excellent sound absorption, insulation, and lightness performance. CONSTITUTION: A replacing panel for a construction material using a giant thatch is produced by applying heat and pressure to the adhering object of a giant thatch particle and a timber particle through an adhesive. The size of the giant thatch particle or timber particle is 40 mesh or greater. The adhesive is made of a powdered phenol resin adhesive or water soluble phenol resin adhesive and is mixed at the ratio of 7-15 weight% with respect to the overall weight of a replacing panel.거대억새 파티클 단독으로 또는 목재 파티클과 함께 접착제가 혼합된 상태에서 열과 압력을 가하여 제조된 건축 내장재용 또는 가구용 대체 패널이 개시되어 있다. 이러한 건축 내장재용 또는 가구용 대체 패널은 통상의 석고보드 보다 흡음성, 단열성 및 경량성 측면에서 탁월하며, 통상 목재 파티클과 섬유질로 제조하는 파티클보드와 섬유판과 동등 이상의 품질의 새로운 억새보드로 제조가 가능하여 부족한 목재 자원의 대체와 가구용 재료 등 친환경 제품으로 적용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.
