PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nursing aid excellent in the safety, allowing a care-taker to adjust the force according to the change of the supporting posture without locally pressing a part of the body of a care-receiver or a hand of the care-taker.SOLUTION: The nursing aid 1 is attached to the care-receiver to assist the care-receiver in standing up or in walking, etc. The nursing aid 1 is composed of: grips 13 disposed to be located on the waist back of the care-receiver to be gripped by the care-taker to support the care-receiver locking means on one inner end and on the other outer end a waist band 11 to be wound around the waist of the care-receiver to support the waist and two winding bands 12. The winding bands 12 have a plurality of insertion holes 14 to insert the grips at their respective distal ends, and extend downward adjacently from a part of the lower side of the waist band to be wound around from the back crotch to the waist back via the groin of the care-receiver to insert each grip selectively into one of the insertion holes.
