The panty comprises a body (1) with a waist portion (2) to be positioned about the waist of the user wearing it, said portion having a front part (3), a rear part (4), and an intermediate portion (6) which extends between the front part (3) and rear part (4) by passing over the users crotch, opposing openings (7) being present on its sides for the users legs, an absorbent piece (10) being positioned to correspond with the users intimate parts to absorb any fluid leakages from said parts the absorbent piece (10) comprises a plurality of superimposed layer elements (13, 14, 16), the element for absorbing the fluid leakages being at least partly of wadding, the latter being a filamentous mass of fibres of average length between 5 and 55 mm, said body (1) being of natural material, the garment or panty being completely washable.
