The present application describes fib-reinforced dental composites (FRCs), processes for producing and uses of, the fibre-reinforced dental composites. More particularly, the fibre-reinforced dental 5 composites described herein comprise a polymerisable resin and from about 0.5% to about 25% w/w of fibres having a diameter of from about 3 μm to about 9 μm and a length of from about 60 μm to about 2 mm.
