PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new bush cutting and weeding technology capable of surely preventing blowing exhaust gas on a worker body and harmful effect of exhaust heat, improving exhaust effect of a small engine to realize efficient operation, achieving silencing effects, much decreasing emission of harmful substances to be natural-environmentally friendly, and surely preventing entangling of weed on the gear case surroundings, and excellent in safety and economy.

SOLUTION: There is provided a bush cutter 1 provided by connecting a connecting exhaust pipe path E conducted from an exhaust port of a small engine 4 fixed on the rear end of an operation rod pipe 2, to introduce from a right point near the rear end of the operation rod pipe 2 to the inside of the operation rod pipe 2, wherein an exhaust port M is set at a right point near the tip end of the operation rod pipe 2 and an axial type exhaust fan P is set at a middle way right place of a transmission shaft 5 and in the operation rod pipe 2.
